Slow Painting Progress

Yes, I HAVE been working at getting my ECW army painted . . . however due to my wife and my health issues I've not had as much time as I'd like to paint.

In this photo you can see some of the pike & shot units that I've been working on.

(The photo was taken from my main opponent, Murdock, and has been "stolen" from his blog.)

These troops just have flesh, pants and coats painted at this point . . . but it certainly makes them seem close to being finished for me.

  1. great progress Jeff! Hit the belts, guns and other trimmings and you'll be done. The miracle dip will also help out - quickly improves a fast average paint job with shading [and protection]. My only additional step to a "flat" paint job is to drybrush or highlight one "bright level up" on the model, giving mine three total shades per figure, which seems good to me. I don't have time for blending, but from a distance you usually can't tell they aren't blended.

Hear you on the delays - moved house [again], and some vacations have really kept me off the painting table.

Hope the health situation improves. best, alex
